We’re looking for you and your sweet dog to photograph to update our studio displays and marketing materials. This special project takes place at our studio in Wimberley.

CINEMATIC IN-HOME PORTRAIT REVEAL & ORDERING SESSION VIA ZOOM
This means you get to see all the fantastic photos captured during the session without even leaving your house! Our portrait designer will host a virtual ordering session via Zoom where you can sit back and relax as you check out the images from the comfort of your own home. During this time, you will have the opportunity to purchase the images you like.
We can even create custom-painted and designed portraits specially for you, like this art piece of Old Glory (below).

CAN I BUY THE PHOTOGRAPHS?
Of course! While there’s absolutely no obligation to buy any of the images, you will have a fun and very special viewing session on Zoom where you look at your stunning portraits one week after your shoot in the comfort of your own home. Should you fall head over heels (which we’re pretty sure you will) with any of your images, we’ll help guide you through the options, ensuring the best fit for you and your family. At that time, you can apply your gift certificate toward any purchase.
Our artwork starts at $390; and most clients typically spend $1000 and up on their selected portraits. If you make a purchase, your reservation fee plus gift credit will be applied for a $300 credit when you order.

HOW DO I BOOK MY SESSION?
To schedule your session, please schedule a phone call below and Heidi will go over all the details on the day/time you choose. Sessions are limited and are being scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis, so don't wait too long!
WHERE IS HEIDI KNIGHT PORTRAITS LOCATED?
Our Studio is in Wimberley, close to Austin and San Marcos and not too far from New Braunfels and San Antonio. Most of our clients drive 30 minutes to 3 hours to come and see us, and often make a day of it here because the town is so popular, walkable and cute. Be sure to visit the square, and consider checking out Blue Hole (reservations required when open for swimming)! We will share our address when you decide to book your session on the phone call with Heidi .
WHY ARE YOU OFFERING THESE SESSIONS?
We are constantly trying new lighting, backdrops, and posing techniques, so we always need fresh faces for our regularly updated portfolios and displays. We also love dogs!
ARE YOU LOOKING FOR MODELS?
No, we are looking for REAL people and dogs for our portfolio. Our clients are real people so we prefer to show real people in our wall displays, on our website, social media and in our portfolios.
CAN I BRING OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS?
Absolutely! We encourage you to bring along other important family members, like a spouse if applicable, or grandparents. There is no charge for additional family members and we’ll include them for a part of your session; for example, at the end.
HOW LONG WILL OUR PORTRAIT CREATION SESSION LAST?
We block out an hour for your appointment. A standard session takes approximately 30 minutes, depending on the number of people in the family and if there is an outfit change. We prefer to do two “looks” or outfits as part of our projects.
WHY DO YOU REQUIRE A RESERVATION FEE?
We only have a limited number of spots available. To reserve your session on the Studio’s calendar, we require a $100 deposit in order to book a date and time.
HOW DO I VIEW AND ORDER MY PORTRAITS?
We will review your portraits with you on Zoom within about 1 week after your session, allowing you to experience and reflect on the beauty of your images using our fun and efficient selection process and unique software. As you select your favorite portraits and presentations that best suit your home, aesthetic and budget, we’ll help you to feel confident in your decisions.
All orders are placed and taken care of at this meeting. On-line postings and printed proofs to take home are not available. The Zoom reveal is often described as one of our clients’ favorite and most memorable parts of working with us. Please review the Artwork Section of our website to see some of our most popular artwork for our clients.
An important note: If you are married or partnered, both you and your spouse or partner will not want to miss this Zoom, which currently takes place by appointment. Why is this? In most relationships, both members tend to like having at least some input (either financial or aesthetic) in the selection process. It’s also emotional, and happy tears can and do often happen. (Bring tissues, just in case!) Too often, we have heard extreme regret when a partner has not been able to attend so while it is not required, it is strongly encouraged. Second Zoom appointments are expensive and can be challenging to accommodate as we are a boutique studio that is booked to a limited capacity so that we may serve our clients at the highest levels of attention and detail.
